Application Qualifications

• Current .tw/.台灣 domain name registrants who have completed payment and with at least 90 days or more before the expiration date.
• Currently accepting applications from legal establishment of companies/organizations at home and abroad.
• Applications are not accepted from abnormal domain name procedures such as d domain name is under dispute resolution process/domain names reported to have false registration information, improper use/domain name is pending transfer to another registrar, etc..

How to Apply

• Applications can be easily completed on this website through five steps, or apply with the registrar of your domain name.
  

Application Document

The two following documents need to be attached in the upload information step:
Document 1 .tw Green Domain Name Verified Service Application Form

• After filling out the information, stamp the “.tw Green Domain Name Verified Service Application Form” outputted with the company/organization's seals.

Document 2 Identity Document

• If the identity of the domain name registrant is a “domestic/foreign registered organization/company”:
  Provide the latest company registration certification documents.
• If the identity of the domain name registrant is an “organization”:
  Provide the latest legal person registration certificate and tax registration certificate and other supporting documents.
  Remark: If the applicant's company or organization is not established by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), the documents provided must be notarized and authenticated first.

Review Results

• After TWNIC has reviewed and approved the application, the service contact and domain name registrant will be notified of the result, and “This domain name is Green Domain Name Verified” will be displayed for this domain name in the WHOIS query results.

Service Fees

• Application fee: NTD 4,000 per application.
• If the registrant identity/ownership is changed, including: Fields such as the tax ID number, Chinese name of the company, English name of the company, certification needs to be reapplied and the service application fee needs to be paid again.
• TWNIC is launching the "2026 .tw Domain Protection Integrated Service Premium Program". Anyone who completes a new application for the .tw Domain Name Registry Lock Service before 23:59 (Taipei time) on December 31, 2026 (based on payment time) during the program period will enjoy a promotional price of NT$4,800/first year (original price NT$6,000/year) and can also apply for the <.tw Green Domain Name Verified Service> for free during the program period.
• TWNIC is promoting the "Digital Trust Enhancement Program for org.tw" to comprehensively strengthen the digital trust environment of non-profit organization (NPO) websites. Eligible applicants can apply for <.tw Green Domain Name Verified Service> free of charge. The NTD4,000 application fee for the org.tw domain name is waived.

• Once the service is activated and the registrant agrees to allow TWNIC WHOIS to query the data, fields such as the registrant's name, the verified Chinese company name, the English company name, and the tax ID number will be set to be disclosed and displayed by default.
• This service is subject to a one-time service fee. After the service is applied for and activated, if it is found that the registrant's identity has changed, ownership has been transferred, or any related information (such as tax ID number, Chinese company name, or English company name) has been modified, the .tw Green Domain Name Verified Service will be revoked once verified. If the registrant wishes to continue using this service, they must reapply for the .tw Green Domain Name Verified Service with updated identity and information to obtain certification again.
• If the service certification fails due to the registrant's update the company/organization information, the registrant shall bear full responsibility, and TWNIC/Registrar will not be held liable.
• If the domain name expires and is not renewed, or if it violates related regulations—such as false registration, abuse, phishing, infringement, or that the domain name involvement in a dispute resolution process (including but not limited to the aforementioned reasons)—and is subsequently deleted or transferred the ownership, this service will also become invalid and cannot be transferred to another domain name.
• If, during the service activation period, an information security incident occurs due to the actions or negligence of the domain name registrant—such as data leaks, hacking, or deliberate misconduct by former employees—resulting in illegal or infringing activities and causing the service to become invalid, such incidents will not be covered under this service. The registrant shall bear full responsibility.
• If it is found that the domain name registrant has violated domain name registration regulations or any rules related to this service while the service is active, TWNIC reserves the right to cancel the service application. The registrant shall bear full responsibility for any resulting loss of rights or interests, including those of third parties, and shall not raise any objections.
• By applying for this service, the registrant acknowledges and agrees to the service descriptions and relevant regulations. If any changes are made to these regulations, the latest announcement on this website shall prevail. TWNIC reserves the right to the final interpretation and modification of all relevant content and regulations.
